Great read on one of my favorite films of last year. I love the argument for VistaVision, it's more than just an aesthetic, so much of One Battle After Another is a chase and the wide frame does so much heavy lifting in showing the distance between the characters / spaces they can't access.
This looks intense! I hadn't heard of this one. I read the essay twice because I really liked the character breakdowns.
